How often do you hire new employees?
Corcoran Trucking takes great pride in hiring qualified drivers to represent our company & service our valued customers. (Qualified owner-operators) We are looking to expand; (constantly expanding) therefore we are continually looking for quality, (qualified) (responsible) professional drivers. (on the look-out for) that will represent us in a positive manner.

What are some of the goods (Comodoties) that you haul?
We are diversified (in what we haul) We are able to transport most fresh and/or frozen food products. We also ship many dry & bulk products {such as canned food, flour, decorative bark, peat moss, dog food, diapers to name just a few} as well as livestock. We haul flooring & carpeting for homes. We have recently added a flatbed division, the flatbead division has its own dispatcher. We are restricted from hauling hazardous material or household goods. We have satellite tracking to keep track of all loads. (We constantly monitor their position)

What is the most weight you can carry in your trucks?
We follow each state’s law's plus all federal regulations concerning weight.

How many truck repairmen do you have on staff?
We carry a full staff of mechanics & repairmen to service & maintain our trucks. Including 5 highly qualified mechanics available 24/7. We are committed to perfect maintenance and all units are serviced on a schedule & maintained in perfect running order. We strive to keep each one of our 50 trucks in top condition.

What is the combined experience in years that your drivers have?
The majority of our drivers have more then ten years experience (Some as many as 20 years). Our drivers are offered incentives that keep them with us for MANY years.

What are your shipping routes?
We ship throughout the entire United States & Canada. We currently have dedicated routes to and from Dalton, Georgia. Other routes include California, Texas, Florida, & Illinois.

How long have you been in business?
Corcoran Trucking was established as a family business over 40 yrs ago: founded in 1965 by Ed & Kaye Corcoran with 1 truck. Through dedication to customer service we have steadily grown to 38 trucks & 58 trailers. John Corcoran, their son, was working at the ground level in the company at the time of his fathers death; he eventually became President & CEO, continuing the traditions & values of his parents; mainly quality SERVICE with quality equipment & responsible service.
